From Stuck to Hired is my program for aspiring and early-career data engineers whose projects aren’t turning into interviews. Eight modules take you from figuring out where you actually stand to interview prep, with portfolio projects built around real business problems in between. The goal is a mid-level data engineering role. Take it self-paced, with a weekly group, or with weekly 1:1 coaching.
Not a bootcamp
The work has to survive contact with hiring teams.
Target realistic roles, build project proof, explain tradeoffs like an engineer, and make your technical work easier to evaluate. I built Gambill Data’s consulting practice by being good at this work. Coaching is me helping you get good at it too. It’s its own practice: it makes you better at your job, not a way into Gambill Data’s client work.

Structure turned scattered learning into interview-ready work.

For over a year after graduating, I felt like I was constantly learning but never actually moving forward. I followed endless tutorials, started what felt like 100 different courses, and spent hundreds of dollars on random programs hoping one of them would finally give me the direction I needed. Instead, I ended up stuck in ‘tutorial hell.’ I knew I wanted to build a career in data engineering, but I didn’t have a clear roadmap or know what I should actually be focusing on.
